Terms and Conditions
Our service
We aim to give our complete personal attention to each guest and their requirements. The service will be provided as it is advertised on our website and details of what is included in the price are sent to the customer in the welcome letter. However, we cannot take any responsibility if any force majeure situation obliges us to modify the plan. When accommodation is provided, rooms are sold on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis.
Booking process
We request a booking deposit paid by bank transfer or via Debit/Credit Card. This deposit is stated in the confirmation email.
Customers are considered confirmed once the deposit has been paid and a confirmation in writing is sent back to the customer. We reserve the right to accept or refuse bookings at our own discretion, and are not obliged to state a reason for doing so.
Insurance
We understand that unexpected events might occur and you might need to cancel your trip and your retreat (see cancellation policy below). For this reason, we highly recommend that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, baggage, medical expenses and the cost of repatriation in case of accident, serious illness or death, in order for you to be protected prior to and during the trip. You must inform us of any known conditions or concern that you may have before attending the classes. You must also inform us if you are pregnant or are taking any medication. Please note that if you are not in possession of adequate insurance, we reserve the right to refuse your booking or you will not be allowed to continue your holiday with us, with no right of discount. We will not, under any circumstances, be held responsible for injury, loss or death, howsoever arising, during your stay. It is your responsibility to ensure that your physical condition is appropriate to the activities relevant to the holiday that you are booking.
Retreat Cancellation by us
Jo Joseph Yoga reserves the right in any circumstance to cancel your holiday or retreat with at least 60 days’ notice before the starting date.
Under these circumstances we will refund 100% of the payments customers have paid to us (including the non-refundable deposit). However, we cannot be liable for other costs incurred by you such as for flights and other pre-booked travel arrangements.
We take no responsibility if the cancellation or delay is due to a force majeure including technical, natural or nuclear disasters, strikes, riots, civil disturbances, war, epidemics, closure of ports/airports, severe weather conditions, or any other similar events.

COVID 19 UPDATE: From 1st November 2022, our normal terms & conditions will apply, if you cannot travel due to Covid 19, and you wish to make a claim via your travel insurance policy, you should request a cancellation invoice from us, which you can then provide to your travel insurance company to enable you to make a claim & recover costs accordingly.

This policy will oblige us to ask any person with the wrong behaviour to leave the premises.
